Teachers in the News
The recent copy of the Penn-Trafford Star has a great article about how some of our teachers are using the social media web site Pinterest. I am excited to showcase the advantages of social media because there is a benefit to online collaboration. I belong to Pinterest myself, although I have not quite figured it out. I will have to stop in one of these classrooms and ask our experts about how I can get the most out of it!

We have a lot of good teachers. Hopefully the new performance evalution system will reward good teachers and not so much other teacher. Can you please keep the community involved in the evolution of that performance evaluation system and make it a real factor in pay-for performance. FYI, for those interested in the evolution of news for the district, it is our intent to maintain links to such PT Star articles on our site.
